Default Walking the Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge 2

I am entering this in a contest next week and was wondering if the cropping is okay... Also is this picture too busy? I wanted to show how busy and big New York is. I used photoshop to try to correct the lens distortion created by my wide angle lens.

Thank you for viewing this picture. Any comments would be appreciated.

I am by no means and expert at this but I personally think that there is quite a lot going on in this picture and especially because of all the cables of the bridge. The skyline is in my opinion getting quite interrupted because of these and the fact that its in B&W makes everything look even more overlapping.

Like the B &W and sure brings out the rush of NY. Only suggestion is to straighten the buildings, looks like they are going to fall over. Crop I like.

All of those cables are too distracting for my taste. It feels like I'm looking through a giant spider web. I think your shot shows how busy NY is even with no cables in the shot, so I think your shot is fine w/o the cables. I think the city skyline would look even more imposing if you took the shot from a lower perspective.
