I like this picture because it shows the type of hilly terrain out in the country...
but for some reason....I feel that there's something wrong with this picture...it just doesnt look right? It looks kind of boring lol. To me, I think I am lacking a real solid subject...everything is green, unless you count the road or the cows...I'm not sure hmm.. What could I have done to make it more interesting? I know I could of gotten the road thats cuts the picture diagonally, but I was in a moving vehicle...so chance gone.. ![]() edit: sorry I cant actually get the EXIF data at the moment p.s I only post-edited the picture by increasing the contrast Last edited by ICE; 03-07-2011 at 12:21 AM. |

I think you answered your own question - there is no real subject in the shot. It's a nice scene, but what did you want the viewer's eye to settle on? It's going to be next to impossible to get a good composition from a car. If you could have moved around, you could have gotten closer to use some cows for foreground interest or see if any road or creek can act as a leading line into your shot. You still don't have a strong subject, though. A polarizer might give your colors more "pop."
