I think for a question like that you should post in SYS. The critique section is meant for people to learn how to make their photo better. In order to do that you first need to look at your shot and decide for yourself what you think needs improving and ask about those areas.. The resulting critiques from us are likely to be much more useful to you if we know at what level your own ability to critique your work is.

Amanda,
Congrats on a nice photo with some great conditions. It's not too often you get skies like that, glad to see you caught the beauty. To provide some constructive criticism I'll add in my $0.02 with some thoughts... I like the lines and the exposure. The silo of the surfer is nice. One suggestion to improve this would be to remove the horizon from dead center in the image. With a sky like that and the beams radiating down, you could change the point of view to right on top of the sand (I'm guessing you took this standing and shot from eye level). With the lower POV (could lay down and take shot from 1-2' off the sand) you could have captured more sky and made the sky the focal point. With the sky as focal, and the surfer present, the eye would go back and forth between the two with the radiating lines connecting. Just a thought... Bill
