Default Lilies and Logs
From Yellowstone Summer 09 Scenery


This is part of a snow melt pond on a hike in Yellowstone National Park. This is my first post on this site, just trying to figure out my composition and such. I'm not a big fan of the blurry grass, but I didn't want to disturb the water by stepping in it, as I was balancing on a small log to get this shot. Thanks for any input!

I only see one log..

You need to post Exif data if you want feedback on your photo.

A photo needs to start and finish in your imagination, if it passes through your camera in between, that's cool, if it doesn't, that's cool also.

To me, the log feels cut off. I find myself wanting to see it extend into the foreground. I guess you couldn't do much about the blurry grass.
