The short answer is this: these images are fine. They are properly exposed and in focus. But that is all we can say about them; they are lacking in passion or emotion. Don't be discouraged. I know, this is hard for someone new to the craft. It takes years, even decades to master, but it is what you need to be aiming for. You are off to a good start and you'll get there with time and patience.
