Hi Sandra!

You might want to take a look at the critique forum rules (i.e. only one image per day per thread, post EXIF data, ask a specific question, etc.) This will help us help you better. To critique several images (or even one) with no direction would require a book and most people will just pass on by.

If you just want to share your shots with everyone for general comments, consider posting them in the Landscape SYS section.

Well I wont touch on all 4 images, but just a couple. I will start by saying that out of them all, I like number 4 the most. It has a nice mix of highlights and shadows. But the shadows could have used a little help. This could be achieved by sending a little light in to them by the use of a flash, or reflectors. Your other option would be through PP. Little bit of localized adjustments would make a big difference.

Now number one to me is the one that needs the most attention. I can not be for sure if this was SOOC or if you edited a little yourself. But to me it has way to much of a grunge look to it. It almost looks like your ISO was pushed up. The other thing that is just ruining it for me is the blue hue through out the image. If you could have gotten crisper whites, and maybe just a very small hint of blue, I think it would greatly improve the image over all.The other thing would have been to shot a little bit faster to freeze more of the image, because the sides seem to be blurring from ?camera shake?. Again the shadows are to washed out for my taste, to much loss of details.

The image of the ice has basically the same problems to me. plus the depth of field is to small on that one. I thought I had upload a pic of an ice stream that I did, but I guess I didn't, I wanted to show you what I was talking about.
