Default Reflection from Brim . . . .

I shot this one where I stopped to check if an insect has gone in my helmet

DSC_1739

Model : NIKON D3000
ExposureTime : 1/640Sec
FNumber : F13.0
ISOSpeedRatings : 100
MeteringMode : Division

I have done a little retouch to the image in Lightroom. Have increasd the exposure a bit. And a bit of playing with tone curve... it was linear made it 'S' .. kind of.

Please let me know if the image could have been better. I feel there is much of space on right hand corner... but cannot crop that as will loose the bike mirror then... suggestion and comments please.

I think the sun flare is kind of cool. There's some odd kind of halo to the right of the truck in the sky. I'm guessing the shot was exposed more for the sun reflection, so the background was really dark and that's where this strangeness comes from.

You could do a more square crop which would keep the truck and mirror, but lose the right edge. Then again, I don't really mind the space on the right.

IABoomer,

You could make it an odd size and crop from the right side in closer to the truck!

My only problem with this shot is that the truck is too centered. There is too much wasted and unused space at the right side, which makes the shot a bit off balance. Cool composition, though.
