Default Looking for helpful advice

I am new to DPS and I am not sure if this is the right place to post my photograph but I am not sure where else to post it. I was wondering a few things,
1. How can I make the photo better?
2. Have I over processed the photo?
3. Is there anything you can see wrong with it?

Welcome to DPS.

Yes, this is certainly the right place to post a photo you want critiqued, however unfortunately you don't appear to have attached it.

Additionally you need to include EXIF data like f stop number and focal length, it's essential when somebody wants to help advise on problems they spot.

Welcome to the forums. Yes, I'm afraid it does look over processed to me. First of all, I would recommend keeping the horizon level. I think using a canal or creek in the shot is good, as it leads your eye into the image, but then there is a horizontal object in the canal that I don't recognize. I don't know if that is your intended subject, but if it is, I think you need a stronger one and if it isn't then I find it distracting, as it breaks the flow of the shot. Unfortunately, the sky above the canal is blown out. So, I would recommend a graduated neutral density filter and to shoot this closer to sunrise/sunset so you don't have such a large dynamic range between the bright sky and dark water. Your camera cannot capture that much variation. It's always a problem for landscape shooters when it's sunny.

Like Jon says, you should also post your exif data (shutter speed, ISO, etc.).
