Default The Pantheon

We recently returned from a week long trip to Europe which included a stop in Rome. Though we had no space for our DSLR, this Canon 780IS filled the void suitably, giving us an opportunity to work on composition.

I am concerned about the light spilling in from the hole, as I had to adjust the exposure to return any detail to the dome. It is very over exposed, but I sitll think it works.. Anyone?

It's a no-brainer. No sense improving the non-existent detail in the hole at the expense of detail in the dome.

My only nit-pick on the composition would be that it may have been better to capture the entire hole in the frame rather than cut off the right hand edge.

I agree with Sterling.. The hole is completely blown out.. But that's no surprise.. What's a surprise is that you managed to get the shot with any detail on the roof.. The Pantheon is very dark inside. Well done.
