Default City at night

Shot this from my window, f 22.0, bulb mode Tv 90 secs or so, ISO 100, I reversed cokin and singh ray gnd filters to control light on the street stacked on Hoya ND4 to get the long exposure. The scene is crowded and I feel the balance is missing. Would love to have your crtiques and comments.

thanks for your message windrider, i need to know if the colors are too saturated, will this image benefit from a longer focal length, showing just the three tall buildings and a part of the traffic, does this image look too busy?

@friends who could not see the image, please find a html attached.

Thanks in advance, and wishing you all a perfect weekend.

That's a nice capture of a city my friend.. I think you got the focal length about right, maybe a slight change in or out just to get the building on the left wholey in or out of the photo.

The "busy"ness is the essence of a city, You could just home in on the 3 buildings, but then it would be a photo of 3 buildings, not of the city as a whole.. I like the fact that you have all that extra.. The subject of the photo, the 3 buildings, is clear, and the rest of the scene puts context to your photo.

Well done.

thanks swissjon. pretty insightful reply. yes you are right, city scape should show the spread..
about the buiding on the left, if i include more, i have the roof top of the building right in front of me creeping in to the image. if i cut it out i lose the street right at the bottom of the image, from where i was perched this is the best of both worlds i could get.
thanks again.

LoL.. I misread that as "From the streetlight I was sat on" and imagined you hanging upside down from a lamp to get this shot.
