Default Framing / Cropping

I liked the way the tree looked. But was confused about how to frame the shot. So took a shot with the Gazebo. Without cutting the tree how to make it a catchy capture. please help.

Same problem.

If you're using Flickr, check the individual permissions on the picture.

Ok. I would first, correct the horizon. Too much tilt! At the very least, the lamp posts should be perfectly vertical.

If I were taking the shot, I would have included less of the foreground and more of the sky -- enough to include the TOP of the tree plus some "headroom" above it. I would also have tried to eliminate the tree on the left side. In POST, I would clone out the power lines.
