Default 2nd attempt at b&w

While hiking the other day I felt the weather conditions were perfert for capturing images to convert to b&w. It was very overcast, light fine snow being blown side ways from the winds muting the natural colors.

What do you think about the contrast of the image? What are your opinions on the composition?

Nice shot! I can't see anything that I'd change. I love the composition, and this B/W conversion is just right.

Nicely done.

Dog, don't change a thing. the composition is perfect! I notice the treeline on the mountain on the right keeps my eyes within the subject matter.

The dreamy feel to the treeline on the right going up the mountain is awesome. I love how that looks!
