Default lease help to crop my landscape properly

Friends
I have croped my picture with two version. Which one is the best? Thanks!

Definitely the first one! The silhouette of the mountain is lost in #2 and I like the range of colour in the sky in #1.

I'd say the 2nd one because it uses the rule of thirds better. In the first one, the sun is too close to the center for me. Also, as navcom says, landscape orientation is generally preferred for landscape shots as they feel less confining.
