How is the composition? Colors ( i desaturated all except red and yellow)? focus?
any other constructive criticism would be awesome.

That's a nice abstract shot. The only thing that bugs me is that my eye goes to the white part of that feather in the upper right area, so I would suggest another composition where the white part of that feather is placed using the rule of thirds (or removing the feather).

I agree with Krusty about the white.. But I think you could use the dodge tool in Photoshop to reduce the exposure around the feather and rescue that.. Other than that, I like it, it's a well balance photo..

My eye was intially drawn to the green leaf, then was led on a merry dance around the photo taking it all in. I like the way one thing leads to another, it keeps the eye's interest.

Well done, I like it.

Oh I don't know about that mate.. I've had a quick play in Lightroom and added a couple of stops to lower the exposure with the paintbrush tool and I think it takes less dominance in the picture.. With more time and patience, you'd probably get quite a pleasing result.

I do think the shape of the feather complements the rest of the photos, it was just very bright.
