Hi all. Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I just went on my first winter shoot and while very fun, it threw me for a bit of a loop. I found I was having trouble composing due to the fact that most of the scene had the same tones. Exposure was alittle proving tricky. The setting was beautiful and I really wanted to capture that by providing some foreground and surroundings. I have a few other images from the shoot on my photostream. Any tips, advice or critique is welcome, I'll try to take it like man. Haha. I'll be going on a similar shoot soon and want to bring back even better picture. On a side note, I will be shooting my 2nd attempt with both digital and film. I've never shot film before so tips there are extremely welcome.

Actually I think you did pretty well. Most first-time winter shooters end up with gray white balance issues. You've done well.
Composition-wise, it appears a bit "off balance"...like the composition is hiding somewhere off the image to the left. I think it might look better in landscape orientation with a little more of the left showing. Otherwise I really like the crisp lines of the ice contrasting the softness of the flowing water. And the light blue really adds a nice touch. Nice job.
