Hello fellow Minnesotan!

I think your composition looks pretty good and it's a good technical image as well. The lines flow well. It's not "overly" compelling but it's a pretty darn good shot.

Of course if it wasn't, you might have to wait a couple months to retake it.

To improve on it for me, I would need to be on one of the boats on the water.

Hello,

I find it's a great shot with great colors; there's just a little thing which I might improve and this is the horizon: to me it looks like it's slightly tilted. But that might be just my perception because of the lines... in any case this wouldn't be difficult to fix

Greetings

I think you have a well exposed image. The one thing that bugs me is the flow of it. I find my eye following the row of boats on the left side and into the image, but then my eye goes to the diagonal row of boats and follows the line back towards me and to the right. So, to summarize, I can't tell where you wanted to lead the viewer's eye in this shot, as there is no one compelling subject and my eye ends up settling on the diagonal row of boats in the blue water.

I agree with Krusty... the two lines of boats lead you up to the top left corner, which is also the darkest and least interesting section of the photo. Is this a crop? Can you perhaps crop it differently so that those lines lead into the photo, instead of out?
