Default Closed For Business

I visited an old place of work today which I left 17 years ago. It was an old factory anyway and thought it might give me some nice shots. I was shocked and saddened to find contractors working there removing all the old equipment ready to knock it down. This was one of the old outbuildings where we used to go for our break.
I'm hoping my composition is improving slightly but please criticise in any way you see fit. All I've done is crop a little and played about with brightness and contrast as that's all I know how to do at the moment.
Thanks.

I'd like to see what it would look like if you took about two steps back and didn't crop off the peak of the roof or the chimney. The extra space at the top would also open up a little space to the sides and make it feel less claustrophobic, IMHO.

Hi, looking at it again you are right about the chimney. I actually only cropped off the right side to lose a bright yellow signpost. I moved in closer to avoid getting the big pile of rubbish in the bottom of the frame that was at my feet but in heinsight maybe like you say I should have stayed back anyway and cropped the bottom off afterwards ?
Thanks for your comment and mental note made for next time.
