Default Clocktower at Dusk

Hi Everybody,

This is my first attempt at a landscape shot.

Boise Train Depot at Sunset

Camera Nikon D90
Exposure 0.04 sec (1/25)
Aperture f/10.0
Focal Length 18 mm
ISO Speed 200
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Exposure Program Manual

I thought it was ok for my first try. I just recently learned to use the Manual mode and take meter readings, and on this on I mistakenly underexposed the shot. I brought it up a bit using Lightroom, but I realize it could be better. I also did this handheld, which I now realize isn't the best option for landscape shots, especially under these lighting conditions.

Let me know what you think could be improved in the composition, exposure, etc.

I would not have centered the tower. The sky is gorgeous, so perhaps you could have aimed a bit to the left, capturing more of the orange sky and moving the tower to the right.

Thanks for your suggestions, and I apologize for not responding sooner. I had tried on Friday but the forums seemed to have some sort of problem and I couldn't view the tread. Anyway I took a 2nd shot, this time during the day, and took some of your suggestions to mind. I think this 2nd one was quite a bit more interesting:

Thin dusting of snow...
