Default TV Tower

Had my EOS 350D for a few years but have only fleetingly used it with any anger. Starting to get back into photography and this one is from my recent weekend out snapping. Appreciate any thoughts/advice and with a little bit of help from this great site I reckon I will get more into it each day.

Prague TV Tower from Vitkov

Camera Canon EOS 350D Digital
Exposure 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture f/9.0
Focal Length 59 mm
ISO Speed 200
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Did not fire

Try to make the tower pop a little more by bumping up the contrast in it. My eye keeps moving towards the church which from your title isn't you subject. Great picture with great meaning (I think). With a little work you should try to get it printed.

The B&W doesn't 'pop' as much as on some other shots I've seen, but in a way it suits the powerful message of the shot (I hope it's intentional!). I'd probably crop it a bit tighter and (I may be wrong but) things look ever so slightly off-kilter. Still, the shot as-is is one of the best (artistically) that I've seen lately. Thanks for sharing!

I believe this is Prague? It's not so much a photo of the TV Tower more the city skyline and it's a bit flat if I'm honest.
