Default Honeybee in Heaven

Your comments would be welcome - a few adjustment layers and a little sharpening in Topaz.. And - the bee has his paradise...

It’s a really nice photo—but, I find no actual focal point. Everything looks a bit fuzzy to me???

Perhaps if you isolated the bee and only sharpened her?

BTW—the males (drones) are only good for one thing.

I am very poor at focusing perhaps because I wear eyeglasses. I really think this picture is very nice as it has captured clearly the details of the pistil. The bee is likewise sharp and clear. But then, photologyst has a very sharp eye!

I would have taken the shot a little lower to capture more of the petals and less of the blurry things above it.

I love the colors, as well.

My eyes aren't as good as they used to be, but the bee looks in focus to me.

Looks in focus to me too. I really like this shot- you've got great, bold, dynamic colors, effective framing and subject placement, good depth of field use and the right moment- all the stuff you need for a great photo!

The "bee" is in sharp focus. the depth of field is a bit too shallow if the intent was to have the full flower in focus as well. Been there done that.

I'd simply crop a good portion of the flower out of the finished mage.

I like it.
