Default Iceland - HDR

Hi,

I am trying to make my photos look better using HDR (well kind of...). This is a photo from my holidays in Iceland last summer. I've tried to keep the photo as realistic as possible to prevent it from looking like a cartoon or art. I made the photo by using selective editing and playing with the exposures.

I would love to hear what you think about the photo.

BFC

P.S. If you click on the photo you will be taken to my album where there are more examples of HDR photos if you are interested.

I would like to see the non-HDR pic, IMO this does not show what HDR can make, understanding that that was your intention
Thanks

Personally, I tend to like "untouched" pictures although some editing could enhance them. But I find your shot nice and dramatic, particularly the dark clouds and the bowed heads of the men. I see what you did wasn't too "heavy" HDR, and it just added more drama to the shot. All in all... a nice composition.

I am a newbie... so just my two-cents.
