Default To crop or not to crop

I'm debating whether or not I want to crop this.

What do you think?

Forgot the EFIX:
D5000
18mm
1/15 sec

personally, I'd leave it as it is apart from the right hand side, where I'd get rid of the metal thing on the extreme right. Maybe a little off to keep the aspect ratio?

you need the space at the bottom to allow for the reflection and I like the patches in the fore too. the pile on the left adds a sense of abandonment (is that a real word? )

All in all, just a minor crop and you're there (IMO)

As noted, it's a good image as is...It all depends on what your intent with the photo is.
The more it's cropped the more it is about "the reflection" and the more abstract it becomes.
Personally, I'd probably go abstract...

I like both effects in their own way. I'll have to simmer on this.

I would just tighten up the right hand side to the post, and leave the rest. I like bottom part of the picture, where the mud or whatever is AND I like the effect of the black framing the picture.
I do think that partly depends on how you mat and frame it, though, for display.

Crop (right side out) and straighten.

I would even take out a bit of the floor/ceiling to emphasize the reflections.

Nice image, great potential. I've attached most of what i want to say
Efficiently said, I think the column silhouette is needed to complement the object, for balance. My Virgo obsession for order..

On a side note, have you seen Piet Mondrian's work..if you haven't, google "Piet Mondrian" or "Neo Plasticism". It'll be a visual treat..The crop is probably what he may have ended up with he was a photographer who works in a single colour tone.

I would go either with what S_Sanyal proposes or hey joni. I can really appreciate sk66's crop but my personal preference lies away from abstract, but it is only a personal thing it doesn't diminish the artistic value of any of the crops suggested.

I love you decay work you posted earlier and this photo complements it. Where do you find such places?? Are they off limits and you break the rules?

So have you decided what you are going to do?
Personally I think the current one is a good shot as any...
