I Just Liked It

Hey all, this is my first post and wasn't sure whether to just put it in the share thread because I liked it or go for the criticism. I chose the latter.
I took this picture a few months ago in Ibiza around the time that I was thinking about learning how to take better photographs but not knowing where to start apart from trying to find intersting angles (which I struggle with to be honest). It was taken with my previous camera (details below) but I've now bought a much better DSLR.
Please feel free to criticise in whichever way you see fit but I would mainly like to know if the picture is intersting enough and whether the angle is good. I was hanging off the side of the boat with my friend holding me by my belt !

I am new to this...just got my first DSLR about a week ago! But I, for one, think it's a very interesting shot...I really do like the angle! Glad you told how you got the shot from that angle, because I would have been wondering!

Thanks for that, it's nice to know somebody else likes it and good to know I may have started out on the right footing.

Oh and I forgot to note earlier there's no editing either. I've only just bought Ps elements and have no clue what to do wit it or how to use it yet ! A very steep learning curve for me I think
