you should use smaller aperture for all landscape photography. Try F/11 - f/22 next time.

What is your point of interest in that picture? you should have POI foreground in conjunction with background.

point of interest was also my first thought....what is it you want me to look at?
Generally you don't want your horizon bisecting the image...move it to one of the lines on the rule of 3rds...

In general, you want to lead your viewer's eye towards the subject of your shot. Where did you want to direct the viewer's eye in yours? Like arakattack said, it usually helps to have an interesting object in the foreground, like some distinctive rocks or plants like that bush on the right with the flowers. Just having all of that green shrubbery in the foreground is not really acting as foreground interest.
