Welcome to DPS. That's a pretty good shot, but I think you need a stronger subject to make a great one. I like the way the road leads my eye into the image, but my eye goes to that hill and stops there. Unfortunately, I don't find that hill an overly compelling subject. I think it would help if you had a cool sunset in the background or some vehicle/animals on the road.

The colors are beautiful as is the cloud cover but the photo isn't terribly interesting. If the subject is the long, uninterrupted road then the road should look long and uninterrupted, not broken by the hill.

It's pretty, but there's no subject there.
