Very nice idea. I like how you captured the boat's reflection in the still water. You have a tricky dilemma with this shot. The reflection of the boat is what really makes this shot interesting, and not just an ordinary photo of a boat. With that said, you also expressed a desire to capture the color of the sky, which you also have done a bit. As you can see, however, the image is sort of split in two, and trying to frame your subject (the boat) according to the rule of thirds is awkward because you don't want to cut off part of the mast. Ideally, a wider angle would probably be better to frame and balance the image better. Also, I would boost exposure, saturation, and contrast some to make the colors pop a bit more.

Compositionally, the boat gets kind of lost in the buildings and other boats around it.
