Well, I like it! It's very peaceful and beautiful. I'm intrigued by the dusting of snow on the trees, yet the lake / river isn't frozen over yet. Nice shot.

Stunning image! The colors are deep and beautiful. The water serene. The lake edge sort of splits the image in half, which could be remedied by cropping a tad off the bottom. Maybe that's not entirely necessary though. She's a keeper!

I think the crop off the bottom would help some. Like, leviathan said, its not absolutely necessary though.

Thank you all for the beautifull comments, I see what you mean by cropping the bottom out a bit (to keep in mind the rule of 1/3) but there are times where rules are meant to be broken and i feel this should be one of them. Does any one feel the same or is it just me?

Beautiful image. I don't think the cropping is necessary; it seems like one of those images where both versions would work. Personally, I like the expanse of water with the full reflection of the trees on the left. TFS such an inspiring image!

I fully agree with you barabe...if i am given a chance, i don't cut the bottom portion at all as it will take out the nice reflection of tree in the water. ..but , i prefer to crop on to the left side of the image to take that pole out off my view...

What do you think....???

Barabe, I wouldnt touch the composition. Its lovely as it is and the best part is the way i am led into the hill in the background traveling through the lake!

Just one small observation, too blue(almost unreal) IMHO!! More than the saturation, its the tone of the blue, Temp change may improve it.. Dont you think?anyway, just a small very fixable point.

croping out the pole might work well, agreed.

The tones of blue were SOOC. I did not touch the colors or saturation. I only adjusted my white balance on my RAW file I will see if i can fix this and view the results.
