Default Autumn is here

Took this opportunity to shoot before winter breaks in. This image was taken in a park. You can see an overview of the houses and flats from afar. I didnt do post processing much apart from tweaking the contrast, and colour. In the image, you can see lens flare. Is it destructive to the image?

I would like to know how is my:
1.) Exposure, does it needs to be lighten up?
2.) Saturation of colour? over?
3.) Composition?
Overall, any issue to improve this? Thanks

EXIF DATA:
CAMERA: canon 500D
Exposure: 1/200
Aperture: f/10
focal length: 23mm
ISO: 200
Exposure bias: 0 EV
Flash: Did not fire
White Balance: Automatic

Composition: I wish this were a picture of one tree or the other, but not both. My eyes keep going back and forth to each one, and they're both kind of competing for attention with the colorful background. Also, I might be tempted to walk down the hill a little further and shoot some of those more colorful trees down there.

Sunflare: Sometimes it's nice, sometimes it's not. It's rather distracting here.

Colors/saturation/exposure. I think if you boosted your exposure at all, you'd risk blowing out the highlights in your sky.

i would have set one of the trees as an just off camra POI . maybe having part of the trunk in a slither on the side then using a shallow DOF to blur the back ground . This would alow all the trees in the backround to meld together giving a sea of earthy colours while keeping the detail of the bark .

Or just chosen one of the trees from further away .
