I am not much of a landscape photographer...this was my stab at it...any suggestions?

I'd like to invite you to read thru the guidelines for posting in the critique section. You see, we feel that by adding in a bit more information it will aide in others offering you a good critique. By also knowing more of what you may be wanting help with, will also help outline which direction we go in helping you.

windrider is asking you to ask for feedback on specific aspects of your image. I think you have a beautiful overall scene, but the composition could be improved. First, it looks like your horizon needs straightening. Plus, landscape shots are usually better if you can include some foreground interest to give it some depth. Also, it helps to have one compelling subject in your shot that draws the viewer's eye. I started a thread on that subject:

It is a nice shot and a very beautiful scene but in my opinion some of the blacks are too heavy. It seems like you lost some detail in some of the parts especially on the right side. Still a good shot though.
