Les Invalides (French pronunciation: [lezɛ̃valid]), officially known as L'Hôtel national des Invalides (The National Residence of the Invalids), is a complex of buildings in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France, containing museums and monuments, all relating to the military history of France, as well as a hospital and a retirement home for war veterans, the building's original purpose. The buildings house the Musée de l'Armée, the military museum of the Army of France, the Musée des Plans-Reliefs, and the Musée d'Histoire Contemporaine, as well as the burial site for some of France's war heroes, notably Napoleon Bonaparte

It's a beautiful structure, I just wish I could see more of it. It has that leaning effect when you shoot a building close up at a wide angle. This can be fixed by zooming back in, and then physically moving yourself back further. Zoom with your feet.

I agree, more of the building would definately be a lot better; the fact that its been cut off on the right takes a lot away from the building. Also foliage on the right is very distracting.

I really like that the image has people in it (as well as the manicured ). The contrast in size of the people with the building, the images orientation, the fact that it is in the top 2/3rds of the frame all provide us a very good sense of scale.

Thanks for your comments, normally foiage helps to the pic, varies the dimension, that's why I inclued it
