Default Rule of thirds???

So, I've never really had any formal training, just playing around. Wondering if this is anywhere near following the rule of thirds? I did have it in mind when I was taking the shot...

No formal training here, either. But it looks like you followed the rule, with both the traffic lights in the lower right and the cool sky in the upper left.

To me, the "rule" of thirds is just one way to help create interesting compositions. Another rule is to avoid putting your subject in the center of the frame. But, these "rules" are just means to an end. If you can get to the end (interesting comp) by different means (breaking the rules), then the shot might must end up being memorable. My 2 cents.

And very nice job with the comp and the processing.
