Default GOD's Light

Hello Friends

I think this is a blessed shot, I caught this view suddenly while I was traveling near an old temple in India. A ray of light from a small hole was directly falling on the Lords idol.

May be my Luck : the right time and the right place.

EXIF:
P&S Canon AS570IS

Aperture : f/2.6
Shutter : 1/4
ISO : 200
Exposure : -.3ev
Flash : Flash did not fire

Few post edition has been done in LR2 in this image.

Please C&C so that I can learn more.

Very cool.

To me, the problem is that there is too much range in this photos, and as a result, the whites are bit too white.

Did they get that white in processing, or is it that way in the original? If the whites were well-exposed (resulting in blacker blacks, I know), this would be memorable.

Good job dialing down the EV.

Do you mind me asking where this was taken, the name of the temple, etc?

My 2 cents.

Not sure what the color version of this image looked like, but would definitely be interested in seeing it if possible. I agree with another visitor in that the range is a little extreme. Very very cool shot though, definitely jealous.

Great picture Rohan, fantastic temple at Lonar too! i'd love to come personally sometime!

Try lowering your levels in PS if you can i.e. less difference w black and white in the slider to get more detail in shadows if you can. Either way, this shot is an absolute stunner!
