Default A rainy day in Poole

What do you think of this photo? Does the blurry foreground look weird to you? The jury is out for me but I can't quite put my finger on what's missing.

Sorry for being so vague. If you want to know what that blue thing is its a paper plane that my son threw overhead.

The blur does kind of mess with the eyes. Maybe if there was a little less of it. I would also clone the blue thing out of the photo.

I agree totally with Michael.
If you have to ask what something is, usually it's better to get rid of it, especially if it's distracting.
Post processed:
cropped bottom, adjust perspectives so building are straight, cloned out "blue thing," burn in reflections, desaturate some of foreground.

BTW, I love the photo My adjustments only took a couple of minutes.

Thanks very much guys! Thanks Bruce that looks much better. I'll have a go at that myself.

I've got this great book recently by this guy called Kevin Meridith and he takes loads of photos from ground level or other angles that are different to the norm. He specializes in lomography and his photos are always awesome so I went out and had a little play around but of course I am not "an award winning photographer" like Kevin lol!
