Well, lets see.
The composition is great in my opinion, it breaks the rule of third which I like.
The trees are a bit too dark and the sky is too gradient. This is just my thoughts. If I were to change things, I'd have more clouds in the sky and perhaps a little more of the trees in the background.

Just a couple of suggestions

My comments- Your exposure is good, but you composition needs a little tweaking. First of all, the sun is too close to the middle of the horizontal center. There's too much space at the top, and nothing to balance the shot. Empty space is great in a photo, but there has to be something that draws your eye and give it that balance.

The trees could do this, but there is not enough of them to really make this work. I'd like to see more of the trees, as is they're just too little, too close to the border. And yes, what might really help the shot would be clouds in the upper right.

If you're going to include a subject, REALLY include it, or allude to it, don't just cram it at the edge, it's importance will get lost.

Next time, just try repositioning the camera and getting a couple different compositions so that you can see what works later on.

Photography is a lifelong process- relish the efforts and the work that it takes to learn to make great images. It takes time and practice.

Hmmm post... Don't overdo it. A great picture comes from being creative with the camera. So look at these things in post: exposure, white balance and composition.
Those would be my two cents
