Poles

I posted in the SYP section looking for advice then realised, well someone told me, that it wasn't the place to have real feedback.
I haven't been taking photos very long and would like to learn as much as I can before spending on something more expensive.
So here goes nothing. Camera is a Vivitar DVR 410 4 Megapixel point and shoot thing.
This is one of a series of shots i've taken of power poles in and around the town where i live (Northern France) I'm intrigued by the angles the wires and poles give against the sky.

Good use of the angles and of black and white. A bit noisy but that's your camera.

I had a holiday earlier this year near Roscoff, there are lots of nice photo ops in the area for sure.

Thanks. Roscoff is an hour and a half North of us. The camera is doing my head in a bit as there's some blobs on the photos, its an old thing we bought for eldest years ago.
Its a lovely area and i'm looking forward to be able to take shots of countryside and the wild atlantic coast, as well as shots around town.
