I would love yo get some serious critiques on this shot about anything from composition to editing. thanks

Good picture, but a little uninteresting. Reason is there is no real subject as I can tell. The flowers possibly, but the background is too busy. A bird or butterfly would have made a more visually pleasing image. Also, a smaller aperture (around F5 maybe) would blur the background a little and make the branch pop. Last, make sure you follow the rule of thirds.

Agreed, IMHO the picture lacks an interest point.
I would recommend you, like nikon-kid mentioned, to simplify the picture by selecting an element of interest and blurring the background by shooting with a shallow field of depth. Try using composition rules to enhance the effects: not just rule of thirds but alternatively the golden ratio, or using lines to attract attention.
