Hi! Do you have a specific question?

HDR=high dynamic range. Dynamic range is the range between the darkest and lightest points in an image. Your eyes can see about 20 stops of light where your camera can only record about 9 stops. That means in situations where there is a huge range (high dynamic range), your camera will not be able to properly expose the entire image. Something will be either over or underexposed.
HDR "techniques" involve shooting several different exposures of the same scene (usually enough to cover the whole dynamic range) and then combining them together in post processing with software such as Photoshop or HDR-specific software such as Photomatix. The result is an image with a higher dynamic range. Hope that helps!

It should also be pointed out that you will need a tripod or some other means to secure your camera to be successful with HDR. In addition, you will want to shoot the bracketed exposures in fairly rapid succession. Any movement between the exposures will wreck your final merged image.
Your capture has a nice artistic appearance. Almost an atmospheric perspective. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ArtSchool/L...ric/index.html It could use a little more definition through color and contrast, but a nice shot all-in-all.

There are several excellent articles right here on DPS that can help you understand things like ISO, exposure time, and aperture value. Search for "Exposure Triangle" on here and you'll find some good basic information.

I agree with one of the other responses to your posts. With the camera you have, take several shots, probably 3-4, each one stop apart. Then use HDR (the HDR in Photoshop CS5 is pretty darned good) and combine them. You'll find there is a learning curve, but the experiment is worth the results!
