i like this shot of yours. composition is good and i like the way the ships were silhouetted.
did you process this? because the sky is magenta but the space between the masts of the ship in the center and some spaces in the ship on the left is white. Last edited by edbayani; 10-18-2010 at 12:29 PM. |

![]() @photologyst : you did great for the correction, do you hv any tutorials link for me? what preset did you used? @edbayani : even i used photoshop to light on the purple and yellow light, the ship's silhouetted is tottaly pure without any process @boun : i used Nikon D-3000, cool enough for me ![]() @windrider86 : i'v read the guidelines before, i didnt mean to showoff (if this is i missed)..i just need some correction for my work since i am a beginner..sorry then ![]() @Michael_2010 : yeah there was a people saw my picture and said that i got a little over exposed, thats why i asked does my pict look to shiny..thx anw ![]() thx all for the appreciation.. I didn’t use a preset, Benny. I adjusted the white balance and went down the Lightroom workflow in the Develop module until I got what looked good to me. The best way that I know of to experiment in Lightroom is to pull the sliders to either extreme—left & right. That way you can clearly see what each slider does and how it affects your photo. If you do not like what you have done then simply reset and start over. Make a couple of digital copies and try different processing on each one. Print them out in sRGB colour space @ 300 ppi and compare.
