Hi all, these mystic stones are located in Tapalpa, Jalisco, Mexico, they were found so many years ago, no body know the exact origin, apparently they are part of a meteorite crashing in the earth.
Can you please critic composition and tones level? I played a bit with mid tones I know, I forgot to change the ISO, sorry Thanks Art Exif Version=0221 Maker=Canon Model=Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XS Software= Color Space=sRGB Scene Capture Type=Standard Exposure Mode=Auto Exposure Shutter Speed Value=1/250 Second Aperture Value=9.00 Flash=Off ISO Speed Rating=ISO1600

My eyes are drawn more toward the clouds than the stones on this one. The stones appear to be slightly out of focus for me, which probably causes my eye to go to the element that seems more prominent and focused: the clouds.
I bet that is a really beautiful place to shoot! You're definitely on the right track here. andrew

I agree the clouds are competing with the stones. Both beautiful, wonder if another perspective of the stones? Thinking wide angle forground to background?
Nice place, kind of makes you think what the community around it experienced at the time of impact. Barb |
