Default Morning Lake reflections

Camera : Canon 400D, 17-85mm IS USM

Sorry I don't know the exact camera setting as I took this over a year ago.

I took this early one morning in Ireland of a perfectly still lake. I wanted to show the stillness of the morning as the the reflections on the lake were brilliant.

Thanks

Nice shot. If you want a critique, you're supposed to let us know which aspects of the image you want critiqued. If you just want to share, it should go in the SYS section. Thanks.

Beautiful scenery! Looks like you put all the basics of landscape composition to work for you. Straight horizon, Rule of 3rds, leading lines and nicely exposed......

Fantastic exposure, I love the way the rocks complement the reflection on the left side of the frame, it lends your image a nice and balanced graphic quality The stillness is almost touchable in a sense.

That's actually a pretty nice shot! You've composed the image so that there is a good sense of focus on the foreground rocks, but at the same time, you've given it a serene sense of balance as the eye leads towards the background.

Great job!
