Hey, I recently shot a picture of a river named Soca in Slovenia during my trip. I really like the colors of this river, it looks so purely clean...
So I'd like to know what do you think about the composition. It was a sunny day and the brightness pretty much ruined the picture all the time. So I set the exposure to 1/6 and -2 EV so I wonder what do you think about that. Did it come out well and ware there any other methods facing a problem like this. EXIF: Exposure: 0.167 sec (1/6) Aperture: f/22.0 Focal Length: 18 mm ISO Speed: 100 Exposure Bias: -2/3 EV Flash: No Flash Thanks for your feedback and critique. |

Looks like a nice river, but I looked at a histogram of your image and there are some blown out white areas and some underexposed dark areas. There is just too much range for your camera to capture. That frequently happens when shooting on a sunny day. To compensate, you could use a graduated neutral density filter, but you would probably have to hold it by hand because only the upper right corner of the image needs it. The easiest thing to do would be to just take the shot closer to sunset so you won't have such a large dynamic range for your camera to try to capture.
