I finally got the nerve up to post my first photo. I showed it to a friend who said it looks like a post card, but we all know that friends are biased. Please let me know your thoughts...

It does look like a postcard but its a lovely shot and I'm jealous that you were even there to be able to take that shot!

It's a well exposed image with nice colors. Technically, I think it's fine, but I find my eye roving over the image and not settling on anything in particular. So, my only criticism would be that you don't have a particular subject you wanted to guide the viewer eye towards. My 2 cents.
