I took this shot from inside of a car. I realize it's not straight, however, i would like thoughts and tips on the composition of the shot. Any other thoughts are welcome as well

There is nothing much wrong with this picture but I find it a bit boring. It doesn't show me anything I couldn't see for myself if I drove down this street. What were you trying to convey with this shot? If the houses are pretty perhaps you could've turned your camera that way. If you are able to, try taking the photo from near ground level. If you have to get out on the road wait for the traffic to be lighter and have someone act as a spotter - warning you when cars are coming.
Composition-wise the road certainly leads me into the picture but there is nothing else to keep me interested, just trees and parked cars. Sorry if I sound harsh, just want to be honest - and its only my opinion

I know you took it from the car but maybe if you could get the same shot from a bit lower down and right on the centre strip you could get the lines working for you.
