Default Barranco 2

I posted this last night but it seems to have disappeared for some reason, so here I go again. This is another shot taken from a moving car; shutter priority mode meant a relatively large aperture which obviously wasn't ideal. I've done my best in PP. Any thoughts?

ISO 200
f/5.6
1/1200th/sec

Great composition. Curious why 1/1200 of a second and 5.6 (vs small aperature and more DOF)?

To throw a curve into the whole critique scenario....
Let me start by asking:
What are your thoughts?

Because as I mentioned it was taken from a moving car, so I needed a fast shutter to freeze the motion, which of course equals large aperture.

As for my thoughts, I like it, but I'm biased!

I like it too, although the halos above the hills are a little distracting.

Any reason you weren't able to stop the car to set up the shot how you'd like?

It has potential, The problem is the rt side is all washed out. It's hard to recover in post...Probably could have used a GND when taking it.....You could try shopping one in in post.

The haloing is the result of slightly lazy selection on my part, relatively easily fixed.

I couldn't stop the car as the road was approximately 1 foot wider than the car itself, with a 200ft drop on one side and a sheer cliff on the other, and we had a minor tailback behind us as we crept around the hairpin bends. When I did manage to stop and set up I got this one, which I think is a little better:

When you say washed out do you mean the kind of haze around the right hand mountain? It doesn't look too bad on my screen I must say. Shouldn't be too hard to fix in post.
