Took this shot of a waterfall that was hidden away at a botanic garden in San Diego. This was the best angle that I was able to get and kinda liked the way the leaves were in the way to still hide the waterfall a bit, but is it taking too much of the focus away from the waterfall? I had issues just because I didn't think to bring my tripod with me for once, so it was a handheld shot.
Shot with a Canon T2i 0.4 sec exposure with -1/3 EV f/11 39mm focal length minor processing in LR to bring out the contrast.

I'm not sure I like the leaves blocking the falls as much as you do, but overall it's well done.

I agree with LeeR I find the foreground elements a bit too distracting. I think you did a good job holding that camera steady the image looks sharp considering you didn't use a tripod.

I do not see an issue at all. It is a hidden waterfall so yes things will be in the way. I think it is an awesome shot. The still waters up top and the capture of the water at the bottom of the falls. Beautiful shot.

Thanks for the critique guys. I'm still not so sure about the look of the photo with the leaves. I think I'd prefer not to have them there, but they do add just a bit to the story of the photo. I just wish there was a way around to get the same shot without the leaves, but it's a botanical garden and they blocked off that whole area.
