Default Serenity

I took this picture during this weekend, on a foggy day.

Taken with a Sony A200 & Sigma 18-250 mm @ 210 mm. ISO 100 / f/16 / 1/30s

and I really like it because of its calm mood.
I received some positive feedback about it but I know that there is room for improvement with it.

What I'd like to ask you is, if you like the picture as is, can you tell me what are the key positive aspects of it?
If you believe that there is something to be corrected, like cropping, or post processing, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your comments!

I like the minimal and simplicity here.. Nice composition too. IMO the color tones can be improved. So as to make the boat pop out better ,... Trying add some contrast and saturation might help. Make it more vivid.. Just a thought..

Awesome shot!!! What a beautifully composed and balanced image you've made here.

I wouldn't say that it needs any improvement at all. Compositionally, it's extremely appealing and you have good framing and VERY strong subject elements. The slight apparent movement of the grasses contrasts so nicely with the boat and reflection.

A real winner here, definitely one of the best photographs that I've seen on this website. Without a doubt, the best shot I've seen all day! Thanks for posting!
