Default Jerudong Beach, Brunei

Hi all,

Here is a picture I took at sunset of the sea wall at Jerudong Beach. My question is about composition. I have tried to follow the rule of thirds in this composition and I think there is depth in the photo, but is there too much dead space on the left of the photo?

In terms of post processing, I cooled down the temperature a little, altered the tint a bit and increased the vibrance to draw out the colours some more. I also applied some sharpening. Do you think I have over done?

All comments and criticisms welcome!

Jonathan

I think I would have pulled back a little so the rock wasn't quite so prominent in the foreground and to take in more of the surroundings.

Post production-wise I perhaps would tone down the tint a little. Also I think the horizon isn't quite straight.

Nice sharp shot and well exposed otherwise!

@Recurrent Nerve: Thanks for your suggestions. Not much I can do about pulling back from the rock at the moment, but I have tried to tone down the tint and straighten the horizon. Do you think this is better?
