Default Astor place subway station

This is my first time on this site. I like taking photos in the subway when it is empty but I wonder if the photo become too boring if there are no people.

I agree with you that it does miss something. Maybe it's too well lit/bright for the feeling you get when in a subway station. maybe it would have given more emotion if it was underexposed a little. You could also go for a B&W (black and white), because the colors are not important. It's the lines that matter.

Yes, yes, B&W will do it more justice

Default subway station

I like the shot without people and agree with the earlier post that in black and white it would have conveyed that feeling of an empty subway station . Nice lines and this photo generates an emotional response on my part. I love photos that elicits emotions.

I agree with Exiztence about the B&W idea. I think that would make it look great.

As for some more information that you need to provide, you would have to attach the EXIF info for the picture (which you will find on flickr) to comply with the rules of the critique section.

Thanks for your advise I am going to reshoot and play with the exposure.

Thanks for you advise I changed the setting in flickr i think that the exif info is available now.
