Nice shot. It's sharp across the image and I like the colors.
The water is a bit too bright though, but making it darker can potentially break the image. You just have to check that.

The water being blown out kind of ruins the shot. This shot is probably going to require you you take 2 shots where one is exposed for the trees and another is exposed for the water and then blend them in Photoshop.

Yes, but will it give the same feeling when the water is perfectly exposed?
I think it'll make the image more boring.
In a creative perspective I think the photo came out well.

A little extra work is required for posting in the critique section. Please take a peek at the critique rules and edit your post accordingly with the info that you are missing. Thanks!!

Hello Windrider,
I have provided the EXIF data information. The only thing that was missing is the specific question, i guess. My intenion was to get a general feedback on the composition and the exposure from the pros to improve my skills. Will make sure in future to post specific questions. Thanks for the input.

Hi Sterling,
Thanks for the input. Will give a shot next time. Jus a question... did u mean to blend a shot of well exposed trees and an underexposed shot of water ?

I disagree that bringing the water highlights under control will kill the feel of the image. In fact, it will make it stronger, because it won't look like you simply botched the exposure, but that you carefully metered and exposed in order to contain all the tones and highlights of the scene.

And it wouldn't take much, in fact, if you had shot this image in RAW, you might actually be able to recover those highlights without affecting too much of the other tones. Shooting in RAW always allows you flexibility to preserve as much dynamic color and tonal information possible. It's the best way to ensure that you get the best possible exposure and maximum quality from your photos.

Love the trees, but the water seems to be a little blown out. Not sure I could have done much better at this point in my experience.
