Default First DPS experience...

Hi,

For many years I've been wanting to start taking some non-tourist photos, and 3 weeks ago I got my new and loved Canon Eos Rebel T2i...

Just starting to know hoy everything works, but It would be really helpfull if you could give me some advice. I took this pics in Mexico DF where I'm based now, I tried to do something different (from what I used to do with my point and shoot Linux).

I'd like to know if the Av I used was correct for the type of picture I was trying to take. Always tend to shoot with very low AV.

Also I'd like to now if in your opinion there is a main subject (interesting) on the picture... (the bike was supouse to be my "model").

Thanks again everyone.

Camera: Canon Rebel T2i
Lens: EF-s 18-55mm
Focal Lenght 27mm
Tv 1/60
Av 6.3
ISO 200
Evaluative mettering

I love the working of colors in this shot, nice one.
But what would you like to have critique on? And don't forget your Exif info.

I like it. The way the graphics on the bike carry over to the alcove is interesting. Since the bike is your model and primary focal point, I would not have cut off the front wheel. The void adjacent to the rear wheel also kind of throws the frame off balance.

All in all it's a nice shot.
